Ear Infections

Ear infections can be painful and distressing, so my initial approach is to ensure that your pet is comfortable before helping to identify the underlying causes for the infection. I can provide advice to you and your vet on how to investigate the underlying cause and how to effectively choose the appropriate treatment. I can then help you monitor the condition as symptoms decrease and improve your pet’s health until they are fully recovered.

Ear Infection – Case Study

This image was sent in as this dog’s owners needed advice on whether surgery was necessary or if they could carry on with steroids. This is a chronically scarred ear from previous infections. I recommended surgery to help relieve this dog’s pain and discomfort.
